Chanel creates always an expectation of what will bring Karl this time, starting from scenario, front row and of course designs.
for this lovely couture in a glass mirrored house Karl wanted something impeccable, like the girls look like fashion drawings, at the beginning with lovely shapes of tailoring moving forward to an 80s mood and pastel colors and keeping us the best for the night, slim figures and long crinoline skirts, and then feathers arrived featuring an obsession of desire for perfection. Girls where on point and this is how a show bring a huge desire to say i want that one.

I keep repeating now, Chanel wants to go to a new direction, a Modern direction, a young wave of girls and sophisticated modern Womens.
There were so many reasons why the Chanel Cruise collection that Karl Lagerfeld showed in Seoul tonight made perfect sense. From a design point of view, Korean traditions offered him a trove of inspiration much newer than the familiar tropes of China and Japan. From a cultural point of view, the K-Pop phenomenon had all the color and sugar-rush kick that Lagerfeld could possibly crave. And then there was the inescapable business perspective: Judging by the strikingly stylish audience, the local clientele might be just about the best advertisement Chanel could possibly want.

Karl Lagerfeld is one of the world’s most renowned fashion designers and widely celebrated as an icon of the zeitgeist. Karl Lagerfeld. Modemethode at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany is the first comprehensive exhibition to explore the fashion cosmos of this exceptional designer and, with it, to present an important chapter of the fashion history of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.Karl Lagerfeld is known for injecting classic shapes with new life and for taking fashion into new directions. For the past sixty years – from 1955 to today – Lagerfeld’s creations have consistently demonstrated his extraordinary feel for the ‘now’. Right from the start of his career, the designer has worked for luxury houses such as Balmain, Patou, Fendi, Chloé, Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel. As creative director and chief designer of Chanel since 1983, he is regarded among experts as the sole legitimate successor to the founder and fashion legend Coco Chanel. Since 1965 Lagerfeld has been designing two – of late even four – collections per year for the Italian house of Fendi, not to mention his own eponymous label.
